Kathleen Good Jenkins
Parish Secretary

The “Good” girl entered the world on August 15, 1957 to parents Frank & Rita Good in frigid Buffalo, NY. All five siblings share common initials: Karen Ann, Kevin Alan, Kyle Anita, Kathleen Amy and Kenneth Andrew. Kathy attended St. Michael’s Catholic School in Annandale, Virginia for nine years, graduated from Annandale High School in 1975, and Virginia Tech in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. After moving to Florida in 1980, she spent nearly 20 years in radio and television in Tampa Bay, including stints at WSRZ, WQYK, and WTVT. She was talent coordinator for the Kathy Fountain Show, produced a special with Robin Leach, and interviewed a variety of celebrities for print and cable. In 2000, Kathy opened her own retail outlet, “GoodThings”, featuring antiques & uniques. In August of 2006, she joined St. Andrew’s staff as Parish Secretary.

Kathy’s family followed her to Florida, so her parents and brother live nearby. She is an avid reader, has traveled extensively in England, Scotland and France, but true quality time is spent with friends and family at home over wine and cheese. Kathy is the proud mother of 17-year old Poupon, the cat that lives over the refrigerator, and her beloved beagles, Buddy and Holly.
